FAQ
Good questions.
How old do I need to be?
21 or older, with a valid driver’s license. You’ll confirm your details at checkout.
Is Autopilot really switched on?
Yes. Autopilot, Auto-park and Summon are on for every rental. Autopilot is driver assistance, not self-driving: you stay responsible for the car and keep your hands on the wheel.
How many miles are included?
Each Tesla has its own daily mileage allowance, shown on the vehicle page and at checkout, with a per-mile rate if you go over.
Is there a security deposit?
Some vehicles carry a refundable security deposit. The exact amount for your Tesla is shown before you pay.
Where do I pick up?
Pickup is in Cary, North Carolina. Exact pickup details come with your booking confirmation.
I’ve never driven a Tesla. Is that OK?
Absolutely. That’s half the point. We’ll walk you through the basics at pickup, and most people are comfortable within a few minutes.
Can I rent before I buy a Tesla?
That’s exactly what we’re built for. Live with one for a few days and see if it fits your life. Renters who go on to buy can ask us about special offers.
